Domain Name Terms & Conditions
These Domain Name Terms & Conditions apply to all domain registrations, renewals, and transfers carried out by Webforward on your behalf. They form part of our contract with you and apply in addition to our General Terms & Conditions.
1. Registrations
We act as an intermediary registrar for various top-level domains (TLDs). By registering a domain through us, you agree to the registry’s terms and conditions, including Nominet terms for .uk domains and ICANN requirements for generic domains.
2. Contact Information
You must provide accurate registrant, administrative, and technical contact information. Providing false details may result in suspension or cancellation of the domain by the registry. It is your responsibility to keep this information up to date.
3. Renewals
Domain names are registered for fixed periods (typically 1–10 years). Renewal reminders will be sent in advance, but you are ultimately responsible for ensuring domains are renewed before expiry. Domains not renewed may be suspended or released back into the public pool.
4. Transfers
You may transfer domains to or from Webforward subject to registry policies and any fees payable. We will not obstruct legitimate transfer requests where all outstanding balances are settled.
5. Use of Domains
You agree not to use domains for unlawful purposes, including infringement of third-party intellectual property, phishing, distribution of malware, or sending unsolicited bulk communications. Abuse complaints may result in suspension or termination.
6. Expiry & Redemption
If a domain expires, it may enter a grace or redemption period depending on the registry. Recovery of expired domains is not guaranteed and may incur additional redemption fees.
7. Nominet .UK Domains
By registering a .uk domain name, you agree to be bound by Nominet’s terms and conditions (view here).
8. Liability
We are not liable for loss of domains due to failure to renew, inaccurate contact details, or registry errors outside our control. Our liability is limited to the fees paid to us for the domain service in question.
