Do you own your own servers, or do you resell hosting?
We have our own space in our Sheffield (Tier II) and Wolverhampton (Tier III) data centres, with hardware we manage ourselves. We also offer a fully managed UK cloud option for businesses that want a flexible alternative to a dedicated server.
What's the difference between your Sheffield and Wolverhampton data centres?
Sheffield is Webforward’s Tier II facility; Wolverhampton is Tier III. Having both gives genuine geographic separation, so a problem at one site doesn’t affect the other.
What happens if a server fails?
Data is mirrored across multiple servers, so if one fails, traffic redirects automatically to another within the cluster. This is designed to reduce downtime without needing manual intervention.
Is my website backed up automatically?
Yes. Every hosting client gets nightly off-site backups as standard, plus scheduled snapshots, so there’s always a recent copy to restore from if something goes wrong.
Can I bring my own hardware, or run a VPS?
Yes, both. Our Wolverhampton data centre has colocation space for your own servers, and our VPS hosting runs on our managed UK cloud.
Can you migrate my website from another host?
