Building a training platform that works for one learner or a whole team
Overview
HSEDocs needed a platform that could do two jobs at once: sell health and safety training courses with a proper learning management system behind them, and sell downloadable, editable health and safety documents, all from a single account. We built the whole thing from the ground up, from the course player and certification system through to the document store and checkout.
The Challenge
HSEDocs approached us with a fresh concept and a clear objective: to create a platform that would provide comprehensive online health and safety training and a collection of customisable compliance documents, all accessible through a single account. There was no existing system to improve or adapt; the challenge was to build a genuine Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up. This system needed to feature video-based course delivery, multiple-choice assessment logic, automatic certification, and multi-user accounts, allowing businesses to purchase and manage training for their entire teams rather than just one license at a time.
The Result
HSEDocs offers a comprehensive platform that simplifies the entire training process in one location. Businesses can easily sign up, add learners, and enable them to complete video-based courses with multiple-choice assessments. Upon completion, users can download certificates, all without leaving the HSEDocs platform. Additionally, accounts provide access to a library of editable health and safety documents, eliminating the need for separate logins or providers for training and paperwork. HSEDocs is recognised as an approved supplier to the central government and the public sector, and it holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 accreditations.
