eCommerce websites built to turn browsers into buyers.
We build online stores around the business behind them: your products, stock, pricing and how you fulfil orders. Then we choose and build the right platform around that, with a dedicated project lead from the first conversation to launch.
Which kind of store suits how you sell?
Right-sized for a growing catalogue.
WooCommerce gives you a flexible store without paying for scale you don’t need yet. There’s no platform fee on top of hosting, and a proven set of tools to grow into.
- Subscriptions, bookings and wholesale pricing
- Low running costs, no platform fee
- Easy for your team to manage
- Great for independent retailers and smaller catalogues
Built for volume.
Shopify gives larger, busier stores the infrastructure to handle growth, with one of the best checkouts available. We handle the setup, design and integrations, and stay on hand afterwards.
- Built for larger or fast-moving catalogues
- Selling across several channels
- A checkout Shopify keeps improving
- Apps and new features looked after by us
Built entirely around how you sell.
For complex pricing, existing systems or a sales process that doesn’t fit a standard product and cart, we build the store in Laravel, around your business rather than a platform you have to bend.
- Your own checkout and pricing rules
- Connected to your ERP or warehouse
- Built by our own developers
- Great for larger or unusual sales processes
Stock, orders and accounts in step.
An online store rarely works on its own. We connect it to the stock, accounting and shipping tools you already use, so orders don’t get typed in twice.
- Stock levels kept in sync
- Orders into your accounts
- Shipping labels without retyping
- Xero, Stripe, PayPal and Royal Mail
Moving your store without losing what works.
Changing platform is mostly careful planning. We move your products and, where the platforms allow, orders and customer accounts, and point every old page at its new home.
- Products and categories moved across
- Old pages redirected
- Checked properly before launch
- Honest advice on what will change
How we build it.
It starts with your products and how your customers buy, not a theme.
1
Understand your business
We start with your products, stock, pricing and how customers buy from you now.
2
Design and build the store
We choose the right platform, design the key journeys, then our developers build and test it.
3
Launch and keep selling
We handle the launch, hosting and domain, and keep supporting the store as your range grows.
We build our projects with WooCommerce, Shopify and Laravel. We’ll recommend the right one for how you sell.

“After being left in a complete mess by our previous developer, we turned to Richard and his team for help. They are a breath of fresh air. Friendly, proactive and quick to act. We have found Webforward nothing but professional and approachable. We also now have a plan of action in place to move forward. Something our previous developer had great difficulty in achieving. A big thumbs up so far.”

Questions we get asked.
Not sure where to start?Talk to a real person, not a ticket queue. Call 01827 781311 or send us a message.
How do you decide between WooCommerce, Shopify and a bespoke build?
It comes down to your catalogue and how you sell. Smaller catalogues usually suit WooCommerce, larger ones Shopify, and unusual requirements sometimes need something bespoke. We’ll recommend what fits, not what’s easiest for us.
Can you migrate our products, orders and customer accounts?
Yes. We move your products and, where the platforms allow it, your orders and customer accounts, then check everything before launch. Not everything always moves across exactly, so we’ll tell you up front what will.
Will it integrate with our stock, accounting or shipping tools?
Usually, yes. We connect stores to stock, accounting and shipping tools, including Xero, Stripe, PayPal and Royal Mail, and our own developers build anything that doesn’t already exist.
Do you host Shopify stores?
Shopify hosts every Shopify store itself, so there’s no hosting to buy. We can still help with speed and image management, and look after the store through our support plans.
Will I be able to manage the store myself?
Yes. You can add products, change prices and run sales yourself, and two hours of training are included so your team is confident from day one.
What happens after launch?
WooCommerce and bespoke stores include your first year of hosting and domain, and updates are covered for six months. After that, our support plans cover new features, app management and anything that comes up as your range grows.
Beyond launch.
A new store is where the work starts paying off. The same team stays with you afterwards, so whatever comes next, you’re talking to people who already know your store.
